Create custom music CDs
with only a FEW simple steps.
Create custom music cd compilations with only a few simple steps. Now you can
make your own custom music cd with only the music you want to hear (example: your own Wedding Music CD). Just follow
the steps below and in minutes, you'll have your own custom music CD.
Before we start making your custom music cd compilation, you'll need
some things:
- A Windows-based computer equipped with a
- CD Burner / Writer.
- Music (can be in CD,
WAV, MP3, MOD, or OGG form)
- some Blank CD-R discs.
- About 800MB of free disk space.
- Our software, CDMaster32... which you can
download for free to see
just how easy it is to create your own custom music cd.
Now, before you jump in with both feet... it might be a good idea to think
about how you want to arrange your to-be-created cd. Do you want it to be a
Greatest Hit's album? All action movie soundtracks from the year 1999? Be
creative. Do you want the songs in chronological order? Alphabetical
order?
Now, depending on the source of your music, you will need to perform
different steps. Each step will be a different option of CDMaster32.
If your music is on CD, Follow our CD Ripper
tutorial to convert you CD tracks to WAV format.
If your music is in MP3 format, your ready to go.
If it's in WAV format, your also ready to go.
OGG Vorbis format? No problem there. Ready to go.
Got some MOD files? CDMaster32 supports them.
Our CD Burner Engine is WAV compatible;
however, it will take MP3s or OGGs as an input... decoding them on the fly.
Once you have your music in either MP3,OGG, or WAV format,
let's go through the process of making your
custom music CD step-by-step.
- Open
CDMaster32. You will see the Main
screen open.
- Use the MP3 to AudioCD screen (aka Recording
Options
window) to enter your files. Add all your files per the instructions in our AudioCD
Burner Tutorial.
- Before clicking the <OK> button on the Recording
Options
window, you'll want to reorder the files in the order you want. This is done
by using the "pointing hands" buttons to the left of the
filenames. The first file (top most) will end up being track 1 on the CD,
second will be track 2, and so on. Remember, you can mix MP3, OGG,MOD, and WAV
files on this screen. Our program will know to convert the MP3s, MODs, and OGGs before
opening the CD burner window.
- Continue with the AudioCD Burner Tutorial to
completion. It might be a good idea to verify the order of your files /
tracks before writing the CD.
That's it... That's all there is to it!
